Europe: The Better Spring Break
Flights to Europe

Each fall, college students roam the halls, asking their compatriots what their plans are for their fun in the sun getaway known as spring break. Although some students have to work and others choose to return home, there are a significant number of co-eds who decide that they need to break out of the mold and go something else for spring break.

Unfortunately, most of these students break out of one mold and into another - that which is called Cancun, Puerto Vallerta or Acapulco. However, a growing number of students are realizing there are places outside of Mexico that offer good food, culture...and an 18+ drinking age.

Of course, I'm talking about Europe. Tickets that head to warm climates like Mexico usually cost an arm and a leg during spring break season. However, until March 31, airlines offer winter pricing for trips to Europe. That means a $800 ticket to Cancun can be reduced to a $300 ticket to London, depending on when you go. Most travelers heading to England's largest city for spring break stay in a Central London hostel. Because it is still the off season, they are usually able to find excellent rates on accommodation. If you decide to stay in a London hostel outside of the city, prices are even lower.

Spring break season is also a perfect time to go to Europe because you avoid the crowds of the summer months. Also, because most spring breaks occur during March, travelers avoid the cold weather of the winter months. You can search for cheap flights to Europe using our airfare search engine
